However, the light is merely intended to highlight those very fine, light coloured hairs that you might otherwise overlook even in a brightly lit room - and believe us, there are many of them. The light saves you the irritation of discovering and having to come back and re-epilate those hairs at a later time.
There are 2 speed settings to choose from, so whether you're the type of person who likes to take it slow and steady or get it over with quick and promptly, there's a speed setting to suit your needs.
Finally of course there is included the now somewhat customary shaving head attachment - aptly named "OptiTrim" by Braun - which allows you to shave any hairs down to an optimal length prior to epilation, or else simply enjoy the ease and comfort of shaving those areas you find may find too sensitive or may not have the time or desire to epilate.
